Sell figs to people already looking for them
FigStead is a marketplace for one thing: fig trees, rooted plants and cuttings, bought from the growers who raised them. Buyers arrive knowing what a Black Madeira is and what one is worth.
No listing fees. No selling fee until Mar 1, 2027.
You keep the full sale price during the launch promotion — we take nothing. Afterwards the selling fee is 2%, charged on the item price only, never on shipping. Card processing is separate and goes to the processor, not to us.
What you get
A storefront of your own
Every listing you post sits under one page with your handle, your feedback and everything you have live.
Fixed price or auction
Sell outright, run an auction with a reserve, or offer local pickup. Anti-snipe protection is on by default.
Buyers who know the varieties
Each variety has its own page with real sold prices, so a rare cultivar is priced by people who understand it.
Who we approve
Not everyone — and that is the point. Buyers pay premium prices for rare varieties on the strength of the grower's name, so the bar is a track record someone can check:
A verifiable sales history
49+ verified sales at 98%+ positive over the last 12 months, on FigBid, eBay, Etsy or your own store.
A public identity in the fig world
An active profile on the major forums, or a social or YouTube channel showing your collection.
Your own variety-accuracy commitment
You agree to make it right with your buyer if a plant turns out mislabelled once it fruits. FigStead does not authenticate cultivars — this is your commitment to them, not a platform guarantee.
Shipping and plant-health compliance
Packaging that gets plants there alive, and whatever your state asks of a nursery at your volume.
