There’s nothing to download and no app store involved. Your browser adds FigStead to your home screen in a couple of taps, and it takes up almost no space.

Put it on your phone

Point your phone’s camera at this code to open FigStead there, then follow the two steps for your phone. This is where you’ll want it — outbid alerts are no use on a laptop you’ve closed.

  1. In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar — a small screen with an arrow pointing into it.
  2. Not there? Open the browser menu and choose Install page as app (Chrome) or Apps › Install this site as an app (Edge).

Safari on Mac: File › Add to Dock. Firefox doesn’t support installing web apps.

Does it cost anything?
No. It’s the same free website, in its own window.
Will it fill up my phone?
No — it’s a shortcut plus a small cache, a fraction of a megabyte. A normal app from the store is hundreds of times larger.
How do I remove it?
Press and hold the icon and delete it, exactly like any other app. Nothing is left behind, and your account is untouched.
Do I have to allow notifications?
No. Installing and notifications are separate choices — the app works fine with alerts switched off, and you can turn them on or off any time in account settings.
