Where this can ship

Ships to 45 of 51 US states and DC.

Not to: AZ, CA, FL, HI, OR and WA

Why these states

Checked against the National Plant Board state summaries (opens in a new tab), last reviewed August 27, 2026. This is a platform default, not legal advice — the Plant Board says its own summaries are not legally binding. Your state is checked again against the real delivery address after payment, and an order that can't legally travel is refunded rather than shipped. How buying works.

Shipping policy

I ship on Mondays or Tuesdays to help avoid weekend stalls in route to its destination. I cannot be held responsible for the package one it leaves my possession. However in the event of a lost or damaged package, the package will be covered under the covered under the UPS insurance policy. The buyer will receive the refund once the shipper issues the payment. I will also work with the buyer the best I can to resolve any issues should the unexpectedly occur

If something goes wrong

Plants die in transit, parcels go missing, and occasionally someone sends the wrong thing. In order, this is what you do.

  1. Message the seller. Use the button on this listing, so the conversation stays attached to the order. Most problems are a misunderstanding, and most sellers would rather replace a plant than carry a complaint.
  2. Failing that, your card issuer. Every payment here runs on a card through Stripe, so you keep the chargeback rights that come with it — raised with the bank that issued the card, which is the party actually holding the money. This is the reason to pay through checkout rather than by any transfer a seller suggests instead.
  3. Report it to us. Report a problem on the order. It is not a refund request and it does not open a claim — it is how we find out, and it is the only way we can act.
  4. What we do about it. A seller who repeatedly ships dead material, ships the wrong variety, or does not ship at all loses the ability to sell here. On a small marketplace that is the only real currency there is, and it is why reporting matters even when your own order gets sorted out.

Being straight about the limit: FigStead is the venue, not the seller. We never hold your money, never see the plant, and cannot reverse a payment or decide who is right about what was in the box — which is exactly why steps 1 and 2 are where they are. The formal version is in the Terms, and Staying safe has the longer walkthrough.
